Seepex Connected Services offers an industrial level state-of-the-art security concept, which has been verified and approved by an external CHECK certified company. We work closely with Hochschule Hamm Lippstadt. The professorship „Computer Security“ leaded by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Pelzl has reviewed and verified our security concepts.
The service is hosted in a ISO 27017 certified datacenter located in the EU. It complies to all GDPR regulations with a strong focus on data security. All data on disks is encrypted and protected by firewalls.
SCS offers two different security levels. The REST Api / MQTT endpoints can either be accessed through a TLS encrypted session routed through the public internet.
For highest security demands a dedicated APN is provided which can be reached through a mobile connection available only through sim cards provided by our partner Vodafone DE. The APN has a dedicated VPN Tunnel into the Seepex Connected Services platform. In this scenario TLS encrypted traffic is additionally secured by the IPSec protocol.
